I want to thank those of you who have been concerned for our family in Chile. Mario heard from Claudia, one of his sisters, today. She reported that her family is fine and their home did not sustain any damage. She also said she had been able to contact Marcela (Mario's older sister) and her family was safe as well. Claudia did say they were all sleeping on the first floor because the aftershocks are quite severe and they're afraid they'll have to run out into the street at any moment. We have not yet heard from Gabriel, Mario's brother, but hope he is well. He also resides in Santiago and, although that city sustained quite a bit of damage, the casualties were limited. Thank you for your faith and prayers.
So glad to hear that you have heard something. it is so sad and scary. Tim is just shocked seeing the pictures. He keeps saying "I walked those streets." We pray all is well withthe rest of your family. Keep us posted.
