Alex and Maggie called with great news last week: they're going to be parents! Maggie is about 11 weeks along and is due around November 12. She has been feeling well and went to her first prenatal checkup last week where she had an ultrasound and heard the baby's heartbeat. We couldn't be happier. I'm going to be a grandma!

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a fellow Grandma-er. Have you gotten used to the word "Grandma" yet? I think I started to feel like one when I saw the cutest little pair of purple leather boots that I wanted to buy for my granddaughter. I told Melinda she better watch out - her daughter may end up having more shoes than her Grandmother. I thought about buying an over-the-door shoe rack now to get my new little one started in the right direction. :) Congratulations!
